I have over ten years of experience, from both the developer’s and operator’s perspective, in building backend IT systems. While working actively on business projects, I also completed my Ph.D. thesis about replication at the Poznań University of Technology. I am Docker user and advocate since version 0.6. Since 2016 I am working as Chief Docker Architect for Aurea (https://www.aurea.com/), in a team responsible for designing and managing Docker hosting environment used in production by dozens of commercial products and running hundreds of production stage containers. Everything I do is based on cloud services, mainly AWS. I’m interested in everything related to Docker, Kubernetes and distributed systems in general while focusing on networking, replication and data consistency.
